Our companies offer unparalleled capabilities and national recognition in environmental and natural resources protection and enhancement. Our biological and ecological personnel provide these services to commercial industries, private landowners, developers, and government sector clients located throughout the continental United States.

The ERS Division of SES Energy Services provides natural resource environmental consulting services to state, aviation and private sector clients. Our professional staff includes senior wetland scientists, certified wildlife biologists, mitigation banking specialists, ecologists, marine scientists, botanists, AutoCAD/GIS analysts and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-qualified airport wildlife biologists. The firm has developed an enviable reputation, in both the public and private sectors, for innovative and cost-efficient approaches to environmental challenges.

BASH Plans, Multiple Air National Guard (ANG) Stations. ERS is currently the prime contractor for the Department of Defense (DoD) National Guard Bureau’s (NGB) “Installation BASH Program.” Since 2016, our BASH team has conducted site visits at 67 ANG Installations. Our team of experts conducts detailed 3-day BASH site visits, prepares the updated BASH plans, and conducts US Air Force Avian Hazard Advisory System (AHAS) and snarge collection training for every ANG installation.

Wetland Removal/Wildlife Hazard Abatement, Jacksonville International Airport (JIA). Since 2005, ERS has provided FAA-qualified airport wildlife biologist services to Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) at JIA. We are currently assisting JAA in the completion of an EA for the removal and mitigation of over 52 acres of jurisdictional wetlands that are deemed to be Hazardous Wildlife Habitat on JIA. This Draft EA has been prepared pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) and in accordance with FAA Order 1050.1F, Environmental Impacts: Policies and Procedures, and FAA Order 5050.4B, NEPA Implementing Instructions for Airport Actions. ERS is responsible for all permitting and mitigation efforts associated with the filling of the 52+ acres of herbaceous and forested wetlands.

Wetland Delineation/Environmental Permitting, Runway 14-32, Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville. ERS is working with NAS Jacksonville to identify and eliminate hazardous wildlife attractants (wetlands) at the approach to Runway 14-32. Senior wetland scientists have delineated jurisdictional wetlands within a 930-acre parcel that will be utilized as mitigation for wetland impacts associated with the project. ERS is responsible for permitting wetland impacts and the assessment/design of the off-site mitigation area.
