• Formed part of 271 acres of a restored ecosystem, 3.7 miles long
• Excavated approximately 456,000 cu. yds. of earthen material (clay with sandy top) — 226,000 cu. yds. were used for fill, and 230,000 cu. yds. were transported off-site for disposal
• Constructed two observation boardwalks
