Industrial Hygiene, Health and Safety, Environmental Consulting, and Environmental Engineering Services, Office Building, Nassau, Bahamas. Aerostar SES LLC (ASL) provided expedited industrial hygiene, health and safety, environmental consulting, and environmental engineering services following the discovery of suspected petroleum odors within an occupied administrative building determined to be the result of an unleaded gasoline release of approximately 24,000 gallons emanating from an adjacent, operating gasoline station.
Preliminary Air Sampling and Indoor Air Quality Assessment (IAQ), Home Health Care Company, Daytona Beach, Florida. ASL completed a limited IAQ assessment and air sampling of an approximate 5,300-square foot, one-story unit located within a light industrial/office building following occupant complaints.
ACM Survey, LBP Survey, and Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) Waste Characterization, 27 Buildings, Antilles Elementary School, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. ASL conducted surveys for asbestos, lead-based paint, and TCLP Waste Characterization for Lead of 27 buildings and associated outbuildings totaling 72,000 square feet.
ACM Survey, LBP Survey, and Visual Mold Inspection, Former Holy Cross School, Regional Planning Commission (RPC), New Orleans, Louisiana. ASL completed an ACM survey, LBP survey, and visual mold inspection of the former threestory, administration and classroom building in poor condition. The project was performed under the RPC’s Brownfields Hazardous Assessment Grant from the USEPA.
ACM Survey, LBP Survey, Hazardous Components Inventory, and Visual Mold Inspection, Second Ward High School, Edgard, Louisiana. ASL completed an ACM survey, LBP survey, hazardous components inventory, and visual mold inspection of an abandoned school constructed in the early to mid-1950s. Specific environmental risks were evaulated that could potentially impact the acquisition and redevelopment of the site by a prospective purchaser.
